Mr. Stafford joined Zamil Steel Vietnam in 1999 as Quality Control Supervisor and was appointed as Production Supervisor in 2001 after attaining the ISO 9001-2000 Certification for ZSV. At that time, he was responsible for the Production and was the Management Representative for the implementation, maintenance and improvement of (ISO) Quality Management System at Zamil Steel.
In 2008, he was promoted to Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement Manager. In this capacity, Mr. Stafford ensures that standards pertaining to quality, health, safety and environment as embodied in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 are met and that relevant systems are sustainably functional in terms of procedure, preventive and corrective actions and changes. He also drives the implementation of continuous improvement programs, including 5S and Kaizen.
Prior to joining Zamil Steel Vietnam, Stafford acquired vast experience in various fields. He held the position of Site Supervision at Venkatesh Nirmata Const. Company in Bombay (1969-1972), Ship Manufacturing Industry in Bombay (1972-1981), and the position of Senior Quality Control Inspector at Kirby Building System in Kuwait (1981-1999).
