 Mr Borg started his career in 1980 as an apprentice welder/fabricator in a European shipyard, during this time he attended theMalta Technical Institute, where he graduated in 1986.
After 7 years in Europe, he joined a major Canadian fabricator, as Contracts Manager and later became the Sales Manager for the company’s joist division.
In 2002, he accepted a position with the Canam Group as Sales Manager for Western Canada and United States. He served as the Regional Chairman of the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction for over 5 years and was active in many committees in the steel and construction industries in Canada and the US.
Mr. Borg joined Zamil Steel Vietnam in 2008 as General Manager, Sales & Marketing – Joist Products. He takes charge of all activities relating to Sales and Marketing of Open Web Steel Joists in Vietnam and the region.
