 Pro. Dr. Kien has been working for Zamil Steel Vietnam since 1996 and is holding the position of ZSV Training & Engineering Advisor.
He graduated from Hanoi University of Technologies in 1961 for his Bachelor’s degree and completed his PH.D in in Hanoi University of Civil Engineering in 1981.
He has a vast experience in the teaching and construction activities. He started his career in 1959 as a Lecturer at Hanoi University of Technologies, and in 1966 he worked as a Lecturer and Deputy Chief of Design Office at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering ; in 1980 simultaneously as Chief of Department of Structures at Institute of Building Technics of Hanoi City ; in 1983, with the title of Associated Professor, as Cooperant Teacher at Institute of Buildings and Public Works of Algiers (Algeria) ; in 1990 as an Expert at Ministry of Habitation of Angola ; in 1995 as Invited Professor at University of Ecole Centrale of Paris (France) and from 1991 to 2003 , with the title of Professor, alternately as Dean of Faculty, Chief of Department, Director of Building Research Center and Teacher at Hanoi University of Civil Engineering |
