Mr. Rizaldy Mercado received his Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering from Mapua Institute of Technology, Manila in 1982. Prior to joining Zamil Steel in 1999, Mr. Mercado has worked for a number of companies in the Philippines and earned vast experience in the field of construction. He has held position as Civil Engineer, Project Civil Engineer and Construction Superintendent for Trans Pacific Construction – Manila, Philippines.
He started with Zamil Steel in 1991 as a Sales Support Engineer in Jeddah and Kuwait. In 2004 he was transferred to Singapore and later was promoted to Senior Sales Manager in Singapore, subsequently Area Manager in Luzon, Philippines.
Since 2009, he has been promoted to Area Manager taking care of all sales activities in Myanmar until Jan 2012, when he is appointed to be Order Management Manager, in charge of all daily OMD’s operation activities.
