With such spirit, around 100 members of Zamil Steel Vietnam Head Office participated in the “Run for Children” in Hanoi on November 22nd, 2009. Meanwhile, the “Terry Fox Run” in Ho Chi Minh City on December 6th attracted another 100 participants from ZSV Dong Nai Factory and HCMC Sales and Engineering Offices.
This Charity event has been an annual corporate activity of Zamil Steel Vietnam, since 2003. Apart from participating as a member of the Run, Zamil Steel Vietnam also always allocates a generous amount of money for sponsoring. Both runs are jointly organized by Canadian Embassy in Hanoi, Canadian Consulate in HCMC and other non-government organizations. The donations have been continuously increasing year by year, and have been a big contribution for supporting less fortunate Vietnamese with cancer and other disabilities.
