The Club Meeting is regularly organized for ambassadors and counselors to Vietnam, ministers and personalities from various fields, diplomats, General Directors of banks and corporations, and the Club’s honorary members. The meeting facilitates the discussion and sharing of views about the economy and culture of Vietnam, helping local and foreign investors alike to gain insights to the business and cultural environment in Vietnam.
During the presentation, Mr. George E. Kobrossy shared his experience from being in Vietnam and the region for more than 12 years. He believes that the economic growth in Vietnam is a direct result of the country’s favorable conditions for investment from various aspects: political stability, human resources, continuous development, and sound economic reforms. He emphasized on the efforts of the Vietnamese Government and the people to make Vietnam a favored destination for foreign investments.
Economic growth has brought about both opportunities and challenges for the steel industry, and these were illustrated by facts and figures during the presentation.
