FM Approvals is an international leader in the third-party certification and approval of industrial products. MaxSEAM – the ultimate roofing system and premium product of Zamil Steel Vietnam, recognized as one of the strongest and most weather-tight standing seam roof systems in the market, has been certified to meet stringent performance, safety and quality standards by FM Approval. In 2004, the Factory in Noi Bai IZ was expanded to increase production capacity and in the same year, Zamil Steel Vietnam introduced MaxSEAM roof system, which was the first of its kind for standing seam roof systems to be introduced to the market in Vietnam and the region. Since then, the quality and performance of MaxSEAM has been continuously affirmed by clients through out the region. To be certified by FM Approvals, the MaxSEAM Standing Seam Metal Panel Roof System had to be tested under stringent conditions by FM Laboratories in Rhode Island, USA for simulated wind uplift pressure, resistance to foot traffic testing, ASTM E108 spread of flame, and hail damage. The result shows that MaxSEAM Standing Seam Metal Panel Roof Systems (inclusive of roof panels, purlins, clips, wind clamps and others accessories) meets the approval requirements of the standard listed above for Class 1 Panel Roofs.
