The delegates were warmly welcomed by ZSV. During the visit the delegates have a clear understanding of the welding processes and were impressed by the state-of-the-art technology adopted in the factory. At the same time, the delegation has a good discussion with the production team of ZSV on the best practices and development of welding technologies in Vietnam and Japan.  “We are honored to be visited by the Japan Welding Mission because we are often the preferred supplier of pre-engineered steel buildings for many Japanese investors, contractors and builders in Vietnam. This visit is a good opportunity to demonstrate our commitment to excellence in our production," said ZSV Marketing Supervisor Angus Liew. In September 2008, Zamil Steel Vietnam also welcomed the student delegation from University of Innsbruck, Austria. A total of 18 students headed by Prof Dr.Gilg Seeber visited ZSV Head Office and factory on 10 September 2008. University of Innsbruck is the third largest university in Austria. This visit was part of the University’s Asian Studies Program conducted in Vietnam in collaboration with Hanoi University of Technology. ZSV is honored to be the only private company chosen for this program. The visit also gave the delegation a good understanding of the comparative advantages Vietnam offers for foreign investor like ZSV.
