Participating in this event, Zamil Steel Vietnam delivered a green message to the environmental forum through a presentation on “Advanced Buildings – Innovative Solutions for Sustainable Developement” presented by Mr. Dean Borg – General Manager, Sales & Marketing – Joist Products. The presentation was “one of the most attractive and impressive presentations”, said the Chairman of the Forum, with very suprising data about the effectiveness of using recycled steel and efficient steel building design, that ultilizes natural lighting and ventilation. The forum was held by VCCI on the sideline of the 1st East Asian Environmental Ministers’ Meeting. More than 200 Vietnamese and foreign managers, scientists and businessmen discussed economic development, green industries and climate change at the East Asian Business Forum in Hanoi on Oct. 8. The participants presented 28 reports focusing on pressing issues, such as the various aspects of cleaner production and environmentaly-friendly technology, as well as pollution treatment and sustainable development, and the role that companies could play in the field of environmental protection With 15 years of operation in Vietnam, Zamil Steel is committed to being part of the growing economy, and its contribution has been acknowledged by the Government with numerous awards.
