Sabah, Malaysia from 16 to 19 October 2008, Zamil Steel Vietnam (ZSV) participated in the four-day Sabah International Expo 2008 (SIE2008), at 1Borneo Hypermall.
Jointly organized by the State Government of Sabah and Malaysian International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI) Sabah Branch, with the cooperation of Federation of Sabah Manufacturers (FSM) Sabah International Expo 2008 is the premier trade fair in Sabah. Since its inception in 2000, SIE 2008 has become one of the largest and most successful trade events in BIMP-EAGA (Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Philippines - East ASEAN Growth Area)
 “Foreign investments to Malaysia in the manufacturing sector for the first eight months of this year rose to RM36.8 billion, exceeding the record for the whole of 2007 which amounted to RM33.4 billion. We see this big event as a good chance for us to introduce our products and promote our respective businesses here,” said Mr. Thony Pasia – Sales Manager of ZSV Malaysia Office.
Being a leading provider in Pre-engineered Steel Building industry ZSV has been operating in Malaysia since 2002. To-date Zamil Steel Vietnam has manufactured and supplied over 150 Pre-engineered Steel Buildings to Malaysia. At this Exhibition, ZSV showcased its Pre-engineered Steel Products and Solutions, Open Web Steel Joist Systems, and the MaxSeam - The Ultimate Roofing System.
The SIE exhibition has attracted 380 exhibitors from 24 countries with over 50,000 visitors attended the event. Prior to the Expo, the Sabah International Business Conference was held on 15 October and the topic of the conference was “Investment Opportunities for Sustainable Development” |
