Zamil Steel Vietnam was presented the Vietnam Golden FDI Award by Vietnam Deputy Prime Minister, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, in recognition to ZSV’s achievement as a Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) enterprise that has successfully transferred the engineering and manufacturing technology of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings to Vietnam and its significant role in contributing to Vietnam’s industrialization.

 

Mr. George E. Kobrossy, General Director of Zamil Steel Vietnam, said after receiving the award, “We are the pioneer that introduced the concept of Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings System to Vietnam in 1993. Since then, the demand for high-quality Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings has grown rapidly, and now it is the most popular system for constructing low-rise buildings in Vietnam.”

 

Pre-Engineered Buildings are steel buildings tailor-made based on architecture and engineering requirements of the users which offer flexibility and cost-efficiency among many other benefits. Saving of material on low stress area of the primary framing members makes Pre-Engineered Steel Buildings more economical than conventional steel buildings especially for low rise buildings. Furthermore, Pre-Engineered Steel Building system focuses on using pre-designed connections and pre-determined material stock to design and fabricate the building structures that significantly reduces the time for design, fabrication and installation.
