On his last message of 2009 to Zamil Steel’s Employees, Mr. Adnan AlMansour – President of Zamil Steel said: “In spite of the global economic downturn, we managed to face the challenges of 2009 stronger than ever, maintaining our leadership in all the markets we operate in; thanks to the resolve, dedication and commitment of every Zamil Steel employee.” This statement typifies Zamil Steel globally and particularly so for Zamil Steel Vietnam.
Notwithstanding the global economic challenges, Zamil Steel Vietnam continued its strategic growth through diversification by introducing two new products: Open Web Steel Joists and Structural Steel, which have also improved performance in 2009. More than 50,000MT of Steel Buildings from two factories in Vietnam has been delivered to the domestic and regional market, of which, many huge projects have been provided to prestigious international names including Hoa Sen, Intel, Boeing, Huyndai, Diesel King... to name a few.
Zamil Steel Vietnam, during the tough market conditions, reaffirmed that people are the most important asset. A sense of achievement in 2009 is also felt for many training courses which have been designed and conducted in-house for better knowledge of staff on Environment, ISO, and other technical aspects. Human resources management system has also been reviewed and improved to cater to employee more benefits and welfare.
“The year 2010 ahead is filled with opportunities and challenges. At the same time, we firmly believe that we are only at the tip of the iceberg of our creative and innovative potential.
