Indonesia, May 19th to May 21st, Zamil Steel participated in Kalimantan Oil and Gas Exhibition 2010, which was held in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan - one of the major cities of Oil, Mining and Gas Industry in Indonesia.
Exhibition Organized which was held in Balikpapan International Convention Centre (DOME), attracted more than 100 exhibitors that include big names operating in the Oil, Mining and Gas Industry such as Shell Indonesia, Liebherr Indonesia, and Bohler Welding Group.
More than 300 participants visited Zamil Steel’s booth during the exhibition and Mr. Tugiman Warisman, Zamil Steel’s Chief Representative in Indonesia was very pleased with the turnout and response. He later highlighted that, "this exhibition has given us a chance to introduce our full range of products and services to the local end users and contractors especially in the eastern part of Indonesia which was left fairly unexplored previously”.
Zamil Steel supplies Pre-Engineered Steel Building, Open Web Steel Joists and Structural Steel products to Indonesia from its manufacturing facilities in Vietnam. The combination of these three steel building technologies has enabled Zamil Steel to provide customers with effective solutions to steel construction that ranges from factories to aircraft hangers, from commercial buildings to steel mills, from high-rise buildings to power plants and petrochemical plants.
As a leader of steel building construction in the region, Zamil Steel has provided more than 200 steel projects to Indonesia for the past decade. These include steel buildings for the new Bontan Coal Terminal, SMOE Batam workshop and processing plant for Titan Mining.
With the rapid industrialization of Indonesia, the Mining, Oil and Gas Industries play a vital role to its facilitation. It is especially evident in the Eastern Indonesia region as there is also a growing number of supporting industries and companies to this Mining, Oil and Gas Industries investments.
