The IBS is a construction process that utilizes techniques, products, components, or building systems which involve prefabricated components and o­n-site installation. From the structural classification, there are five IBS main groups identified as being used in Malaysia, in which, Zamil Steel Vietnam acquired Certification for its Steel Framing System.

By gaining IBS Certification, Zamil Steel Vietnam can enhance its reputation and be more competitive in Malaysian domestic market.

Also o­n July 2008, Zamil Steel Vietnam gained the VQM 2008 result (Grade B) by PT. IntiKarya Persada Tehnik (IKPT), an EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) contractor for LNG oil, gas refineries, chemical, petrochemical and power plants in Indonesia.
