| The 1st Structural Steel project begins fabrication at Zamil Steel Vietnam's Dong Nai factory |
| Hanoi, November 2008, Zamil Steel Vietnam (ZSV) inked the 1st Structural Steel project with Petrosea-Laing O’rourke J.O which is scheduled to complete fabrication by the end of March 2009. Structural Steel is a diversified product line of Zamil Steel Vietnam with manufacturing capacity in various fields of Structural Steel work applications. It is one of the three premier product lines of Zamil Steel Vietnam, among Pre-Engineered Buildings and Open Web Steel Joists.
Equipped with a brand new production line in ZSV 2nd Factory since its inauguration in April 2008, Structural Steel Division is ready to tackle the targeted segments of high-rise buildings, airport terminals, indoor sport facilities, exhibition halls, oil and gas and petrochemical plants, power plants, industrial buildings, equipment support structures etc.  This maiden project will be exported to Indonesia for the Coal Terminal Upgrade Project. To-date, fabrication has covered two thirds of the scope, and shipment of this project is scheduled to be completed by April 2009.With this contract, ZSV took a significant step in introducing Structural Steel to the regional market, and it also reaffirms ZSV position as the leader in total steel building solutions in Vietnam as well as other regions.

We believe that Zamil Steel are offering a wider range of structural steel products which will encourage market inquiries and give us a chance to produce high quality products, faster delivery from our latest advanced production lines.” said Mr. Vu Le Giang, Business Development Manager of Structural Steel Division, ZSV.
