Davao, Philippines, June 19, 2010 – Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam (ZSV)has sponsored the 3rd Joint PICE – SEAD Technical Conference which was co-organized by Structural Engineers Association of Davao, INC, and Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PIPE), Davao City Chapter INC.

The objectives of this conference were to share the findings of structural dynamic principles, which are very important for the analysis of real-world complex structures subjected to dynamic forces such as earthquakes. In the conference demonstration on how advanced structural softwares such as STAAD Pro can simplify the analysis process was conducted.

On this occasion, Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam also introduced its products and services to the conference participants. The presentation was conducted by Senior Sales Manager of Zamil Steel Buildings Vietnam – Manila Sales Office.

As a steel building and steel structure provider, we are aware of the susceptibility of engineered structures to the dynamic effects of lateral loads especially during an earthquake, since taller, larger and lighter structures are being designed and constructed today.
